If things are as I have just described and, therefore, you would like to know how to activate Spotify Premium , let me give you a hand and explain how to succeed in your intent. In fact, if you dedicate a few minutes of your free time to me, I can show you the detailed procedure for switching to the paid version of Spotify, also providing you with the necessary information to activate the free trial.

How to activate Spotify Premium for free
The procedure to activate Spotify Premium is simple and fast. If you are a new user, all you have to do is create your account and select the option to try the service for free with no renewal obligation.
To activate Spotify Premium for free , connect to the main page of the service and click on the button to take advantage of the free months (which, depending on the promotional periods, can be 1 or 3). In the new screen displayed, if you already have an account, select one of the available access methods ( Continue with Facebook , Continue with Apple or Continue with Google ) or enter your login credentials in the Email address or username and Password fields and press the Login button .
If, on the other hand, you have not registered yet, click on the Subscribe to Spotify option, fill out the registration form by entering all the required data, put the check marks next to the options I accept the terms and conditions of use of Spotify and Don’t I’m a robot , to accept the terms of use of the service and verify your identity, and press the Sign up button .
Alternatively, by selecting the Sign up with Facebook or Sign up with Google options , you can sign up using your Facebook profile or a Google account.
Now, whether you’ve logged into an existing account (where you’ve never used Spotify’s free trial before) or created a new one, you should see the Your Plan screen with the Spotify Premium Individual plan selected , which allows you to freely choose which songs to play without commercial interruptions.

To activate Spotify Premium free for 3 months (or 1, depending on the current promos), then make sure that the Premium Individual plan is selected and put the check mark next to the payment method you prefer between credit/debit card or PayPal (you will not be charged during the free trial).
In the first case, enter your payment card details in the Card number , Expiration date and Security code fields and click on the Activate my Spotify Premium button to activate the free trial of the service. If, on the other hand, you have selected PayPal, press the Continue with purchase button to access your PayPal account and complete the activation of Spotify Premium for free.
If you’re wondering if it’s possible to do all this from smartphones and tablets , you need to know that you can do it through the service app for Android devices (also available on alternative stores, for devices without Google services). The app in question for iPhone / iPad, on the other hand, does not allow you to subscribe to Spotify and, consequently, not even to activate the free trial.
Therefore, if you have a smartphone or tablet equipped with Android , start the Spotify app and log into your account. If you don’t have one yet, select the Sign up for free option instead .
Once this is done, press the Premium option located in the bottom menu, tap the Take advantage of 3 months free button and, in the new screen that appears, put the check mark next to the payment method of your interest between Credit or debit card and PayPal . Then enter the data in the appropriate fields and press the button to get Spotify Premium for free.
If you have an iPhone/iPad , on the other hand, start the browser you usually use to surf the Internet (e.g. Safari ), connect to the Spotify main page and follow the instructions I gave you above to activate the free Spotify trial from your computer .
As I mentioned to you earlier, Spotify Premium will automatically renew after the free trial ends. However, by accessing the Your plan section of your Spotify account, you can turn off the automatic renewal of your subscription. How to activate Spotify Premium Duo
Spotify Premium Duo is one of Spotify’s subscription plans that offers all the benefits of the individual plan, with the possibility of sharing the subscription with another person from the same household without sharing the access password. In fact, it allows you to have two Premium accounts, thus keeping your music preferences and saved playlists separate . It costs 12.99 euros/month with, typically, 1 month of free trial .
The procedure for activating Spotify Premium Duo is almost identical to what I previously indicated to activate the individual Spotify plan. To proceed from a computer , then connect to the official website of the service, click on the Start option visible in the Duo box and log in to your account. If you don’t have one, select the Sign Up for Spotify option to start the signup process.

Once this is done, select the payment method to be associated with your account by placing a check mark next to the option you prefer between Credit or Debit Card and PayPal , enter the data in the appropriate fields and click on the Buy Spotify Premium Duo button , to activate the plan in question.
Now, on the Complete the configuration of your plan screen , click on the item Enter your home address , specify your address in the appropriate field and press the Find address and Confirm buttons .
Then select the option Invite the chosen person and press the item Copy link , to copy the invitation link and send it manually to the person with whom you want to share Spotify. Alternatively, you can send the link in question via email , Messenger or WhatsApp by clicking on the relevant option.
The invited person will only have to press the Accept invitation button , log in with their Spotify account and confirm that they live at the same address that you indicated when activating Premium Duo.
If you prefer to proceed from a smartphone or tablet , you should know that the procedure is similar to what I have just indicated to activate Premium Duo from a computer. If you have an Android device , you can proceed directly from the Spotify app by pressing the Premium option located in the bottom menu.
How to activate Spotify Premium Family
Spotify Premium Family offers all the benefits of the individual Premium plan with the possibility of sharing your subscription with 5 other people from the same household. It costs 15.99 euros/month with usually 1 month of free trial .
To activate Spotify Premium Family , both from a computer and from smartphones and tablets, all you have to do is select the payment method to be associated with your account, indicate your residential address and invite the other family members via the appropriate link. ‘access. The procedure is identical to what I previously indicated to activate Spotify Premium Duo.
How to activate Spotify Premium Student
To activate Spotify Premium Student , the subscription dedicated to students that offers all the benefits of Spotify Premium at half price ( 4.99 euros/month with, generally, 1 month free trial ), you need to start a verification procedure eligibility which requires the sending of at least one document certifying enrollment in a school or university.
To proceed, connect to the Spotify official website and click on the Start button for the Student plan . Then log into your Spotify account or select the Sign up for Spotify option to create one.
Once this is done, on the Verify your eligibility screen , click on the Next button , enter the required data in the fields Name , Surname , Email address and Country and, using the Name of higher education institution/university drop-down menu , select your school/university .
If you wish, also enter your phone number in the appropriate field to receive an SMS about the status of the verification of your eligibility. Then put the necessary check mark to accept that the information entered will be used for verification purposes and click on the Next button .
In the new page that has opened, click on the Select file option and upload up to 2 documents issued by your school to prove that you are currently enrolled (e.g. exam booklet , payment receipt for enrollment, etc.). Finally, click on the Submit button to request verification of your data.

You can also proceed in the same way from smartphones and tablets (if you have an Android device, even using the Spotify app). Regardless of the device used, within a few days of sending your request, you will receive an email reply with the result of the verification and any instructions to complete the Premium Student activation.
How to activate Spotify Premium with 18apps
If you’re wondering if it’s possible to activate Spotify Premium with 18 apps , you’ll be glad to know that the answer is yes. All you have to do is create an 18app voucher and use it to pay for Spotify. Keep in mind, however, that it is only possible to activate the Premium Individual plan, choosing whether to activate it for 1 , 3 , 6 or 12 months .
Having said that, connect to the official 18app website, select the Beneficiary option and press the Access item from the menu that opens. In the new screen that appears, select the option of your interest between Enter with SPID and Enter with CIE and follow the instructions shown on the screen to access 18apps. At this point, press the Create voucher button, select the Online shop and Recorded music options and enter the denomination of the voucher to be created ( 9.99 euros for 1 month, 29.97 euros for 3 months, 59.94 euros for 6 months or 119.88 euros for 12 months) in the Voucher amount field . Once this is done, connect to the Spotify official website, click on the Convert your voucher button , enter the 18app voucher code created just now in the 18app voucher field , type your email address in the appropriate field and put the check mark next to the item I accept the terms and conditions of the Privacy .
Then select if you intend to activate Spotify for 1 month , 3 months , 6 months or 1 year and click on the Request code button to obtain a Spotify code that you will need to use to activate your subscription.
So connect to the Redeem the Spotify code page and, if you haven’t already done so, log in with your account (or select the option Sign up for Spotify to create one). Then enter the previously obtained Spotify code in the Enter your Premium code field , put the check mark next to the option I’m not a robot and click the Continue button to redeem the relevant amount and pay for Spotify with 18 apps.
