Doing all this is not difficult at all, nor does it require advanced knowledge: it is sufficient to have any browser or Spotify app specific to your platform available to brilliantly complete the task you have set for yourself. So, without delaying further, give me a few minutes of your time and let me explain everything to you in detail: I’m sure that, at the end of this reading, you will succeed in your intent in four and four eight. Having said that, all that remains is for me to wish you a good reading and a good listening!

If multiple members of your family want to use Spotify, you can save a lot of money by subscribing to Spotify Premium for Family, the tariff plan of the service designed specifically for family sharing. In this section, I’ll show you how to take advantage of this particular subscription and finally, how to arrange for other people to share a Spotify subscription with an external service. Alternatively you could also consider Spotify Premium Duos that for 12.99 euros/month allows you to have two Premium accounts, but in this tutorial I will focus on the Family plan for multiple users.

Spotify Premium for Family allows, at a fixed cost of €14.99/month, to have access to Spotify Premium shared by several users, up to 6 in total (5 family members, to which the subscription holder can be added), each of whom has their own preferences, playlists and so on. The only condition to use Spotify Premium for Family is that all members of the “family” are part of it householdan essential “constraint” for a correct use of the service (contravention of this rule may lead to the suspension of the service, at any time and without notice).

To be able to subscribe to this type of subscription, connected to the Spotify Premium for Family site, press the button Start located in the center of the screen and log in using the details of your existing Spotify account, or by clicking on the button Log in with Facebook, where you used to access the service through the most famous social network in the world. If you wish, alternatively, you can create a new account by clicking on the item subscribe and filling in the proposed form with the necessary information (email address, password, name, surname And date of birth).

Once you have accessed the service, you should be taken automatically to the screen relating to the payment method chosen: if necessary, indicate the one you prefer, choosing between credit card (you will need to specify your card details) or PayPal (you will need to access the portal and authorize the payment) or, alternatively, choose to pay using the methods currently used in your previous plan.

When you’re done, click the button Start my Premium For Family and that’s it: now you are the manager of the subscription, the only one authorized to pay for it and to add (or remove) family members.

Once the activation of the subscription is completed, you can immediately start the sharing procedure with members of your family: bear in mind that each of them must also have a Spotify account, even a free one (which will automatically be converted to Premium immediately after addition).

To do this, access the management page of your Spotify account, log in (if necessary) and click on the item Premium for Family located on the left side of the window: if this is your first time entering this section, you will be asked to enter some personal data, includingaddress of residence. Pay close attention to the latter, as it must be the same for all the members of the family you are about to create! When you’re done, click the button Submit to confirm everything.

At this point, click on the button Send invitation displayed on the page Accountsthen up I accept and fill in the form proposed subsequently with the information on the member you wish to invite (name surname And email address): to send the invitation, finally press the button Send invitation.

As I already explained to you earlier, the Spotify Premium for Family subscription can only be shared with i family members or with i room mates (in short, between people who live under the same roof): if you want to manage your sharing in a more organized way, you can use Together Price.

To share a playlist from Spotify for Windows or for macOSstart the program as usual, log in to your account, if necessary, and click on the section Playlists placed on the left. At this point, identify the playlist you wish to share, click on the button (⋮) corresponding to it and click on the item Share located in the displayed menu.

Subsequently, indicate where to share the playlist of your choice, selecting one of the available options: you can choose to share it within a program installed on your computer (if available) or whether to share within a social networks. In the latter case, a browser window should immediately open in the sharing area of the chosen social network: to conclude, all you have to do is type a message, if you wish, and click on the publish button displayed on screen.

If, on the other hand, you use Spotify from a smartphone or tablet (the apps for Android and iOS are practically identical), you must first start the relevant app, log in, if necessary, and then press the button My library located in the lower right.

Once that’s done, tap the entry Playlists, touch the playlist to share and press the button (⋮) located at the top right. Finally, select the item Share from the next screen and select the destination of your share (it can be another app installed on the system or one of the social networks supported by Spotify).

And if you want to get the link of a playlist, an album or a song in particular, to then manually paste it wherever you want? No problem: you can do that too! To proceed, you must follow a procedure very similar to the one I showed you just now: locate the playlist, song or album of your interest, press the button (⋮) corresponding to it and select the items Share > Copy link [contenuto] from the menu that opens.

In this way, the link to the chosen musical content will be saved in the clipboard of the operating system (smartphone or tablet), ready to be pasted in a chat, in a sharing window, on social networks, in an app or wherever you want .

Users who receive the link will be able to play it by simply clicking on it, via a player “embedded” in the browser (or, in some cases, in the app), regardless of whether they are Spotify subscribers or not.

To share a Spotify song to instagram storiesfirst launch the app Spotifyidentify the content you wish to share (a song, an entire album or, as seen previously, a playlist), tap the button (⋮) corresponding to it, choose the item Share from the screen that opens and select the item Instagram Stories from the next panel (on some Android smartphones, you may need to press the button Other to view all apps available for sharing).

Sharing Spotify content on Facebook is very similar to the one already seen for Instagram Stories: locate the playlist, song, or album of your interest, press the button (⋮) corresponding to it, and choose the voice Share from the menu (or from the panel) that opens on the screen, then tap on the options Facebook present among the available choices.
