We’ve been observing Nura’s developments for some time now, and now the headphone manufacturer has introduced a new product. The NuraTrue Pro have already been launched on Kickstarter.
Financing new hardware on Kickstarter? Nothing new, even for larger manufacturers. Nura has already presented a number of headphone models that score particularly well with the personalized audio profile. The new NuraTrue Pro mainly scores with one feature: According to the manufacturer, it should be the first in-ears with lossless audio via Bluetooth. An interesting function especially for Apple Music customers.
NuraTrue Pro with Lossless Audio
As Nura rightly states, the headphones would be significantly superior to the AirPods in terms of sound quality and codec. In addition to Apple Music in high quality, Spotify HiFi and Tidal HiFi are also supported. Why Lossless? Nura describes it as follows
Lossless audio preserves all of the data from the original studio recording. In comparison, current Bluetooth streaming technology requires the audio data volume to be compressed by 31% to 56% for transmission, resulting in loss of detail and additional artifacts that negatively affect the listening experience. With Qualcomm aptX™ Lossless, CD-quality (16-bit/44.1kHz) lossless audio is transmitted and played back with no loss of information, bit-for-bit exactly as it was recorded in the recording studio.
The campaign is a great success, shortly after it started the sum was almost one million euros, and the trend is rising sharply. Those who pre-order can save up to 40%.
